Tyler's First Haircut!
We took Tyler to the Magic Kingdom today to get his first haircut. They have a barber shop on Main Street and they really make it special for the kids. They give them a cute "First Haircut" hat, they give them a certificate, they save all of their hair, and they get LOTS of stickers. I am not sure who got more stickers TJ or Tyler. I couldn't have been any more proud of Tyler. He was SO good. He just sat up in the chair and ate the stickers until I gave him some Cheerios to eat. When the barber was done Tyler let him put on the hat and then just looked up at us like I did it! It is such a treat to live in "Mickey's backyard".

Happy Birthday Granny!
We all went to The Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Granny's birthday. Mema and Aunt Linda were in from Knoxville so that was an extra special treat. We all had a great time and I was really proud of the boys, they both were so good! We ALL ate too much and loved it. Even TJ had a full tummy! Granny, we will help you celebrate your birthday anytime!
My Favorite Boys!
I found some matching grey shirts for the boys and knew Chuck had a polo in every color. They looked so cute in their matching outfits I just had to share it with everyone. I couldn't be more proud of my boys - I can't believe how big Tyler is getting. I don't think we knew what a joy it would be to be parents we are truly blessed.

Sea World's Halloween Spooktacular
We met some friends at Sea World for the Halloween Spooktacular. We had the best time. The kids enjoyed the trick-or-treating and got lots of good candy! This is just the first of many "Halloween" events where TJ will get CANDY! It didn't take him long to figure out who was passing out the candy at Sea World and he was VERY good at saying "Trick-or-Treat"! This year will be lots of fun for our little "Home Depot Guy".

Citizen of the Week
We are SO proud of TJ. He was given an award for being Citizen of the Week at his preschool. I also had a conference with his teacher this week and she was very pleased with TJ. She said that he got along with the other children and was very social (I don't know WHERE he would have gotten that from?). They also made orange juice this week and got to paint with the oranges after they made the juice. He talked about that for days!

HUMMER TIME!
TJ is getting ready to turn 3 and he LOVES HUMMERS, so for his birthday party we are going to have a HUMMER theme. Today we took him to the HUMMER dealership to get some pictures, posters, and brochures for the party. He thought that today was his party so he kept asking for the cake. I guess I could have saved myself a lot of trouble and just taken some of his friends to the dealership. Oh well, I am excited about planning his party and getting to do some fun "HUMMER" things with the kids.

Aaron's Coming Home!
We spent the evening with our friends Val and Daryl. They are leaving on Tuesday to travel to Guatemala to bring their son Aaron home. We had the privilege of praying for them as they make the transition of a family of three to a family of four. We are excited for them and can't wait to meet their little boy!

Playground Addition!
We added a see-saw to the playground this weekend. My mom and I were at garage sales with the kids on Saturday morning. As we drove up to one of the houses, they had a see-saw in the front yard. I said to my mom, "Those are $150.00 new, I looked at getting one for our playground and didn't want to pay that much". She said she would jump out and see how much they wanted for it. The next thing I know she is running back towards the van and when I rolled down the window she says "I bought it, you are going to have to give the lady some more money!". I was shocked! I asked her, "How much are we paying for it?". She responded, "$35.00 - there was a little girl there ready to pay $30.00 but I told the lady I would give her $35.00 if she would sell it to me right now!" Of course, the lady agreed and was too embarrassed to even look at the little girl. Mom didn't seem to care - her grandchildren now have a see-saw!!! I then had to call Chuck and get him to come back with his truck. Good job - Gram!!! TJ just loves his new see-saw.
