There's a Duck in our Pool!

I looked out my kitchen window at lunch today and saw a duck in our pool. I was so shocked I called Chuck at work and asked him what to do. He said, "take a picture of it". So I did! Here is the picture that I took. When Chuck got in from work he was working in the back around the pool and found some duck droppings on our pool deck. From now on the duck is not welcome. I have been told to scare him off if he comes around again. At least I have a picture - I don't really want ducks taking over my pool, I enjoy it too much in the summer!

Spring Break

Spring break at the Fritts' house means PROJECT! This spring our project was to finish sodding our yard. This has been a two year process and we are so happy that it is done. Chuck worked four days straight and of course we had the hottest temperatures of the year on those four days. This is our "dry" season and the two days after we laid our sod it rained four hours each day. We told the boys the rain was pennies from heaven. We felt SO BLESSED that God had sent the rain to help establish our sod. We really enjoy our house and are thrilled to be able to work on it to make it our home!
