Happy Birthday Daddy!

Chuck turned 30 today!!!! Yes, I am now married to an old man! We celebrated his birthday with a family dinner. TJ and Gram made Chuck his favorite dessert - ice cream cake. TJ also made Chuck a really sweet card. We had a great time thanking God for our wonderful dad!

Tyler's Crib

When TJ and I went in to get Tyler up from his nap today, TJ wanted to get in the crib with Tyler. So, I put him in there. Tyler was SO excited that TJ was in the crib with him. They were so cute. TJ has already asked if he can sleep with Tyler tonight!!!

Easter Bunny!

The Easter bunny left an Easter basket and chair for each of the boys. He didn't have a way to get in the house so he left the "toys" on the front porch. TJ and Tyler didn't really remember that the Easter bunny left toys so the surprise was extra special. The chairs they got will be perfect for the next time we go to the beach! Good job Easter Bunny!

The Fritts' Family at the Beach

We met Chuck's dad, step mom, and their three boys at Cocoa Beach. The boys had such a great time playing in the sand and at the hotel pool. It was so great to see them and to get the chance to spend time with them. I am looking forward to this summer when we can play on the beach and enjoy the waves.

A day at TJ's Preschool

Today Tyler and I got to stay at TJ's preschool all morning. We had the best time. I was so impressed with the teachers and students. We dyed eggs, hunted eggs, played in centers, heard the Easter story, decorated bags for the eggs, and had a special brunch to celebrate Easter. TJ was so proud that I was there and had a really good day. At the end of the day I was SO happy to be bringing TJ home with me, he was the best student there (spoken like a proud mother!!).

Church Egg Hunt

Today we had an egg hunt with our Life Group after church. The boys really had a great time. It was extremely hot (to be the middle of March) but we all enjoyed ourselves. Tyler didn't really have ANY interest in the eggs and TJ wanted them but wanted to open each one right away. He figured out pretty quick that their was candy in each egg. We have enough candy to last us for a LONG time.

Bob the Builder

Tyler's vocabulary is really growing. One of his "new" words is Bob. TJ LOVES Bob the Builder and will sit on the couch in a daze when Bob (yes, TJ is on a first name basis with Bob) is on! Tyler has learned to climb on the couch too and he wants to be just like TJ. The only problem is that Tyler's attention span is not long enough to really watch Bob, but he can last for a few minutes. I can't imagine what life will be like when both of them can really focus long enough for me to get something done during a 30 min. Bob the Builder!

A Basket Full of Fun!

This morning Tyler decided to pull out a basket that I have in the family room. The basket is full of little cloths, it always seems like we need a cloth so I just keep the basket under one of my end tables, anyways, the boys love to throw the cloths and play with them. This morning Tyler thought the basket looked like a great place to sit. He fit in the basket perfectly! As you can see TJ thought it looked like fun and thought he could get in with Tyler. Both the boys never made it in the basket at the same time, but they sure had fun trying!

Neighborhood Egg Hunt

Today was TJ's and Tyler's first egg hunt. It didn't take them long to figure of that this was "fun". They had crafts, cookie decorating, games (the bunny hop) and of course an egg hunt. We really had a great time meeting some of our neighbors.

Green Meadows Farm!

Today was TJ's first field trip. Chuck took off and we spent the day as a family at Green Meadows Farm. Several years ago I went with one of my Kindergarten classes but I don't remember it being this much fun! It really means SO much more when it is your child. We were so proud of TJ and Tyler. They both did a great job. TJ was a little shy around the animals at first but it didn't take him long to "warm up" to the idea that he could pet them. We saw every animal that you would think would be at a farm. We got to ride a train and go on a hayride. We had a picnic lunch and used LOTS of hand sanitizer! I am sure this will not be our last trip to the farm but I think it may be one we remember the most, since it was our FIRST as a family!

Painter at Work!

TJ helped us paint our courtyard today. He was SO proud of himself. The beautiful picture behind TJ (the circle) that's for ME. He said "mom, I painted a picture for you". Of course, I just LOVED it, but I still had Chuck paint over it. We really had a good time painting together.
We have a courtyard that can only be seen from our Master bed and bath. We had some pavers that we needed to get out of the yard (because we are going to finally finish sodding our yard - this has been a two year process we will be SO glad when it is over). Anyways, we decided to put the pavers in the courtyard so once we started that I wanted Chuck to paint the courtyard. Then he came up with the idea to put beams across the top of the courtyard to give it an arbor look. Well, as you can imagine with the courtyard looking so good from our bedroom we now NEED to paint and redo our bedroom. Chuck didn't understand ALL of my logic but it has gotten me new bedding, some new pieces of furniture - Thanks, Mom (I went "shopping" at her house and got a chair and two end tables) and a few more decorative pieces that I am excited about putting up. We are going to finish the bedroom out by painting it. I can't wait. I am not sure how I was able to swing a master bed room makeover out of "we are finally finishing the yard". But I was able to do it and I am SO excited. I really have the greatest husband ever! I think up wonderful things to do to the house and he makes them happen. If I don't say it enough, I LOVE Chuck and I couldn't imagine anyone else in the world treating me as good as he does. (Plus, my sister tells me all the time that I would NEVER find another man that would put up with me the way Chuck does!). Thanks, Chuck - I LOVE YOU!
